Another challenging access for the Hooka Crane team recently, working alongside Hedingham Construction in Harpenden. With a 250 Kg Gable-end beam needing installation to a ridge of height 4.5 metres, but with no access for lorry cranes due to overhead cables etc, the Hooka’s ability to squeeze through the old garage at 2.1 metres of height and 1.1 metres of width came to the rescue. Once through into the rear garden the Hooka was able to securely rig the ‘inverted V’ beam and safely lift it into the precise position for Wesley and his team to complete their framework assembly.
